We went for a walk today morning. 15 students of Architecture from Manipal College and colleagues from Biome. We saw a sewage treatment plant working and cleaning the sewage all 8 million litres of it daily. We saw a wetland further polish the water. We saw fish,algae and pelicans in a 53 Ha. Lake full to the brim. We saw a gorgeous well full of water. In an urban landscape treated wastewater and wetlands are great friends of lakes biodiversity and wells. Man should work to make the compact stronger. A water sensitive city is best reflected in clean wells and that is what every urban citizen of India deserves.
