We went to LRT this morning. I put a basket of artificial flowers inside the monument in front of the plaque with my 2xs great grandfather and uncles names. I put an index card inside a zip lock bag with their names and their information and put a flag through each bag. Just a little something to let me know that I was there. I know it will be gone by morning but I dont care. We will stop by tomorrow before we leave. Sadly in the morning our Gettysburg vacation ends. And probably wont be back before maybe a day in Oct or if not it will be next July. We already have our reservations for next July. Last Fridays meet and greet wast great. Thank you all for inviting Jim and I . We really enjoyed everyones company. Hopefully when we come back to town we can do it again. We had our grandchildren with us from,Sunday until today. We got to share our love of Gettysburg with them. Next stop Baltimore to see our family and friends. Then to Augusta, GA to visit my cousins and then on to our home in FL. We will need a vacation to rest from all our travels. Love every minute of it.
