We went to Mazs mums house today. Nothing unusual about that. At the end of our street, we were about to turn a corner when Mazs foot slipped and he had to hit the brakes quickly as a car was coming towards us. I got jerked about quite a bit, but I had a seat belt and shoulder belt on, so I was just a bit shaken up. As a matter of fact, I had forgotten all about it by the time we arrived in Rugby an hour later. I started to get out of the car, and discovered I was in pain, my back hurt. (Remember I said, I forgot about it? I mean, I really forgot.) We took his mum out to Baddesley Clinton (those who know me, know I love going there, as they have an extensive used book store). Even that wasnt much help as I could only walk a short distance before I had to sit down to rest. I put it down to back strain due to prolonged sewing on Saturday. As I was getting in car to go home, something, (one presumes it was the act of putting on the seat belt, reminded me of being whipped about that morning. Yes, Im doing all the right things, pain killers, etc.
