We went to U.S bank before lunch. A ladies car had ran out of gas. We couldnt pull in because these wonderful colored people was helping this woman push her car back on to the road. Me and trav pulled over to the side to help them push. The woman was frantic as angry drivers behind us was wanting to pull around and go through or get into the bank. The lady said here is a gas can can you guys run down to krogers and get me some gas. The colored lady handed me $30 and said Ill pay for it. Thanks for helping us and thanks for your troubles. I said, there is no trouble glad we can help before we went and got gas the lady in panic standing next to me was telling the lady to come on around and that lady said she needed to get in at the bank. We told her shed have to go on around. As if the lady who ran out of gas wasnt embarrassed enough. The lady in her vehicle started cussing and got angry. The lady looked at me and said, what is wrong with people these days. They are so mean we went and got her gas and brought it back. I handed the colored ladies husband back the rest of the money and he told us thanks and put the gas in her vehicle and gave her the extra money for her trouble. I dont know this man or womans name who was helping this lady out but thank you for your kindness!
