We were Wild About Reading, with an afternoon filled with opportunities to READ throughout the day! The cafeteria was decorated like a jungle.....a canopy, toucans, a multitude of jungle animals, comfy pillows to lounge on and Listening Tubes used for silent reading! They were really neat! We had a special visitor come to make all kinds of jungle animals from balloons and everyone got to take one home. Staff even showed off their talent as they performed a skit to the song The Lion Sleeps Tonight. It gave the kids a good laugh! We will continue our activities into the first part of next week!
