We were ahead of time...nowadays every establishment is having a vision and a mission... we had our college motto and our college song. I left the college in 1968 and to this very moment will get goose skin and tears in my eyes whenever I hear the college song or think of singing it..... it has always meant commitment, an image and a pursuit of excellence and throughout the years whenever one meets an extraordinary girl or woman one finds out that she is an ACGian or RCGian almost always... I know that many in the newer generations do not feel that strongly about the college .. but it is there that we learnt democracy, elections, sports, religion, love of our country, music, and developed our talents and sports... I always felt that administrators and principals should best be from the alumnae to keep the school traditions and help revive the best of what was in that place. A song should not change... this one means much to so many... we should learn to respect our traditions and precious things.
