Most of which, that will never make it up to the second floor. When you mail in a demo to a record company without consent, youre actually sending in what we call unsolicited material. Thats one of the most hated words in the music Industry. Your hard work and dedication ends up in a tub, or a huge box, where it is vigorously disposed of. The best way to really submit a demo to a record company is by way of an entertainment attorney, (Very expensive) a music publisher, A&R connections or a company who has a very good relationship with the record labels. Anything else, youre simply wasting your time. Did you know that most independent entertainers never share valuable information to others? Its time to understand the industry & make the necessary changes to move forward.
