We were at Cotigoa Sanctuary this morning. A place where I have seen Minivet, Nuthatch, Blue Monarch, Fairy Blue Bird, Trogon, Woodpeckers. Suddenly all gone. It is very sad to see such a pretty, pristine forest devoid of birdlife and mammals. Existing sanctuaries/ Wildlife reserves and Tiger reserves are neglected. More are being planned mindlessly. Where is the governance, policing and mapping of these places and for both flora and fauna. Come together my friends and save these forests.
