We were at Olive Garden this afternoon and my nine-year-old neice McKinley was with us. She butted in on a conversation with a couple next to us and had them laughing hysterically in no time. She told them we were there for Gammie s birthday, and announced her age loudly. They asked where she was from.. Have you ever heard of Belpre Ohio? Well yes they had, as a matter of fact, so she told them her neighborhood and her street. They were from nearby Waterford, so she told them her mom worked in Fort Frye and had chemo yesterday. Of course they immediately knew who she was and knew her mom, so McKinley told them a few more choice details about our lives (And McKinley s only volume level is loud). They were very nice and thoroughly entertained by the whole conversation, but at one point I asked McKinley if she would like to give them her social security number as well. As we were leaving, she said, See? I am the best friend maker you will ever meet! Just like her mom, McKinley Jade knows no strangers!!
