We were at the storage sheds today.... sorting, giving away stuff (furniture went to a recently housed single veteran, homeless since February, and now starting over.... baby stuff to a pregnant Mom expecting her first baby girl....) putting beenies and jackets aside for Baby, Its Cold Outside... and my estimate as of this moment is we have 8-10 bins we can fill. Each bin means $50 to Veterans Alliance of Southern California, and the funds will come just as we need to launch CALLING ALL ANGELS to make sure no child of a Veteran goes without this Christmas. last year, we helped 42 veteran families (168 children) and 66 seniors and veteran widows. NOTHING THAT WE DO HAPPENS WITHOUT YOU> OUR COMMUNITY giving to us so we can give to others. We need to fill ALOT MORE BINS to prepare for the needs we are estimating this Holiday Season.
