We were blessed with perfect sunshine and cool weather when the Menarini Group delegates consisting of 200 young delegates of a pharmaceutical company assembled for their Kick–Off event at the Romantic Resort & Spa in Khao Yai. Asia Ability rallied its team of Sambistas to facilitate the Beatswork event. The delegates were all Thai and despite the language barrier, with the support of our Thai colleagues, our Sambistas successfully delivered 3 workshop groups. The participants were guided to play the rudiments of Samba percussion together in creative ways. After an hour of learning and practice, all 3 teams merged together to perform as one big Menarini Group Samba band. The finale was a blast, everyone played with in high spirited harmony, so loud and so powerful! They enjoyed it so much and requested for an encore finale. Each delegate was certainly motivated and ready to focus on their next agenda – planning the company’s focus and direction for 2014!
