We were fortunate to have power on Thanksgiving day and since, though the phone and internet went out Wed. eve and Comcast fixed it today. Didnt miss it that much but must admit to some vague nigglings of internet withdrawal, though I am no junkie. So dinner on Thursday was nice, with Lori and our friend Bob from Melrose Terrace. Sam had to work so Lori came here. Kodee and Sofee have benefited from turkey nibbles for a few days now and I have not heard any complaints from them. Having today off was good in that I could get some housework done even though I played at nursing homes Saturday and Sunday. I am absolutely certain that if I were not working the house would be in much better shape. Too tired to do much once I get home. Another year if I can swing it, then I retire. At least from my full time job.. Will supplement the SS income with more nursing home gigs. Heck, at a couple of them I make as much in a hour of fun as I do in a whole day of regular workjob. Back to normal tomorrow until Christmas week--Rachel is coming so I have asked for Christmas day plus the next, giving me a four day holiday. yippeee!! If I get it, of course....We always spend Maryanns birthday together plus whatever other time we can grab..
