We were going to have to make a very important decision today concerning Ted, but medical team said wait three more days. Several numbers are up, blood gases are good, he has held nutrition three days at full strength, and blood pressure holding. Liver is sick, but not in failure. Many do not agree with decision and feel hopes will be dashed again in three more days, but I have to follow my heart and my gut. I am waiting and praying. I know it would be a long and often weary road back, but hes worth storming Hell for, in my opinion. We need the liver and kidneys to work toward healing. We did not buy a ticket for this roller coaster ride, but we are going to see it to the gate.
