We were in Southwest Oklahoma yesterday covering the potential (but not quite panning out there) winter storm for a couple of clients. After it became apparent the icing event wasnt going to happen, we instead ventured to the Wichita Mountains and were treated to some cool scenes including this one with very low clouds interacting with the mountain tops, resulting in a glaze of ice on the trees and shrubs near the tops of the mountains. This was a serene experience, it felt like we were in the Pacific Northwest.
