We were in search of this cuty since morning.. we saw lot many crested buntings around, including a bunting family ...exhausted a bit .. relaxed for a while drinking water. We were discussing that we deserve at least one siting of it... and just then I spotted the one @ 14 cm bird (smaller than crested bunting) very nearby .. I cheered with joy.. and just observed the way it was moving around. Its a resident breeder on rocky hills and in winter it may come on sandy plains, as per Inskipp found in parts of Gujarath, Rajasthan and Pakistan... and some circles where it was clicked. It breeds away from human habitat usually close to streams, laying two to four eggs in a nest on the ground or in a hole in the ground.
