We were in the recording studio recently, having fun putting together our new album, and I had the video camera in the booth with me and got a little bit of video. You can hear my live vocal along with the studio mix of the musicians and there is no mixing of my voice or auto tune, just the raw vocal with the band playing along. This is probably the most Western of all the songs on our new Western Swing Album. Its a great hit written by one of my fav retro Country and Western performers Lefty Frizzell who released this in the mid 1950s. It might make some of you jazz purists grit your teeth a little, lol but just try and have some fun with it. The charm of this music is that it is just plain fun, its not serious, there are no complex chord changes to analyze, And as Miles Davis said Listen to the stories, man....
