We were intrigued with an article we read about Oklahomas low voter turn out. So this event is the obvious answer, or so we think. Witness Happy Find Your Polling Buddies Day! A day to celebrate your Oklahoma pride by coming out by the numbers with your friends, coworkers, or neighbors and vote. Maybe youll use social media, maybe someone will help a single mom out and watch the kids so she can vote, maybe people will get real and start having productive conversations that help bring about good public policy. And at the end, we all celebrate with said friends either online, at a bar, little dinner party, whatever. No matter what the outcome, at least youll be around your like-minded buddies. (Maybe well come up with a list of places to meet your fellow I Voted-sticker wearing friends based on party affiliation. And well be posting reminders and information about voting in this years state wide election.
