We were lucky this week that Channel 7 Perth shared our new campaign video. This week alone it has been viewed nearly 7 000 times. Its also provoked a lot of discussion and debate. Some commenters think that public education campaigns like this are unnecessary and “parents need to take responsibility for raising their own children”. The reality is that last year 8 toddlers drowned in WA. It’s the responsibility of ALL of us to keep our children safe around water. After last year’s spike it’s apparent that sometimes the community needs a reminder of the risk of toddler drowning. At Royal Life Saving we’re proud to be providing education that WILL save lives.
