We were pleased to have instigated the visit to Hornbill Festival 2013 by the Honble President of India. Now we are doubly pleased to ensure that Nagaland stays on the centers radar with a visit by Mr. Modi next week, once again for Hornbill! Wilderness Films India continues to campaign for north-east India. Next up on our campaign list: - Three each of IITs, AIIMS type hospitals and engineering colleges for the north-east. - Five fruit and food processing zones, horticulture, orcharding and cold storage facilities in the north-east, for jams, juices and jellies from the prolific apples, oranges of Arunachal, kiwis, nectarines, plums, pears and pineapples, all of which would bring rich rewards for our hill farmers. Iceberg lettuce and pokchoy from the north-east could supply all the Five Star hotels of the rest of India. - Better tourism facilities, heightened train and air connectivity, and an international tourism campaign that wildfilmsindia is happy to spearhead at no cost, with our 20, 000 films strong north-east India tourism film archive on Youtube!
