We were recently contacted by Mary Still of American Fork, Utah, who said her son, Paul Wilson, wanted to drive a car. The problem was that Paul is blind. He was diagnosed with Pediatric Brain Cancer at age 6, and subsequent surgeries cost him the vast majority of his sight. He recently celebrated his 16th birthday, and his wish was to – just once – drive a car. We told Mary we could help, and with a little assistance from our Ford Racing School and school director Cindi Lux, we were able to make Paul’s dream come true. With Cindi in the right seat, Paul got to spend about 15 minutes driving a Teen Driving School Ford Focus here at Miller Motorsports Park, to the cheers and tears of his assembled family. Once he was done, we surprised him with the opportunity to go for a couple of hot laps on the racetrack in one of our Ford Racing School Mustangs with Cindi. Check it out:
