We were thrilled to receive this update from Gus the kitten (now George): “George is great (a little terror at times, but great). Hes a feisty boy! He is very sweet. He will cry if he cant find me in the house and cries at the door when I leave for work. He sniffs me and follows me around like a puppy. I guess he didn’t get the memo that hes a cat!” Gus and his sister were rescued from a garbage can when he was a baby kitten. Sadly, his sister did not make it. But, full of fleas and covered in ringworm, Gus clung to life and survived his ordeal. FFL got rid of his fleas, treated his ringworm and fattened him up. Ringworm is annoying and contagious, but it does not make animals un-adoptable. Gus is living proof of that, and so is his adopter. Now, thanks to Gus’ new mom, he is healthy and gorgeous (gorgeous George, that is!).
