We were very excited to visit Planet Canine in Elkhart yesterday and meet more people wanting to help dogs feel great! While they have a broad range of training classes, grooming, and doggie daycare available, what excites us the most is that they offer a swim pool specifically for the dogs. As with people, swimming offers an excellent exercise for those suffering from arthritis, rehabbing injuries, or managing other diseases compromising movement. Range of motion without the full weight of the body can help recover and build lost muscle and flexibility without undue stress on the pet’s joints.
