We were walking down Church St this afternoon and saw this wild bird on the sidewalk. Apparently he ran into a store window and was injured. A guy from NJ felt bad for the bird and was going to kill him because he thought the birds legs were broke. Just before he was about to step on him, Kae picked up the bird and checked him out. He seemed to be ok but stunned. We were attempting to bring the bird to where it would be safe from people and possibly recover. The bird climbed up to Kaes shoulder and wouldnt leave. Even after she moved him to a bush, he hopped back on her arm. We decided to walk around Church St with the bird which got a lot of odd looks. After 5 minutes, the bird casually flew away and was ok. Pretty amazing!
