We will be WELCOMING home our dear missionary daughter tomorrow. Due to 3 hospitalizations and health problems throughout her LDS mission to the Philippines, she will be coming home 4 months shy of the 18 month mark. She will receive an HONORABLE release. We, her family, are eager to WELCOME home a faithful girl who served a consecrated mission. Initially, when I received the news regarding a medical early release, I felt it was an unhappy ending. And since I am a girl, I am all about happy endings. However, over the course of the last emotional, stressful, taxing 10 days starting with Good Friday through Easter Morning and beyond, we have all come to peace. This was out of all our hands. Medical problems are an act of God. His servant, Dr. Christensen, (physician over the Philippine Mission) was given the sole power and decision as to whether she could stay or needed to come home. After a battery of tests, an endoscopy, etc. He decided it was time for her to come home and to heal physically. agroovymom/2014/04/missionary-sister-evans-coming-home.html
