We will be open today from noon-4pm, and Shep would love to be in a warm home by the end of the day! Because he is from 2014, his adoption fee is only $50! He is absolutely adorable with those floppy ears and endearing eyes; Shep is a 1 1/2 year old male German Shepherd who came to us as an owner surrender when his family could not keep him contained. Shep is obviously far too social to be kept outside in a fenced yard or kennel. This boy can clear a standard fence with ease and just barreled through the family kennel gate that they put up for him. So this means that Shep needs a home with a privacy fence and where he is permitted to be an inside boy with outside privileges; not strictly outside. Shep is great with children who can handle his larger 74 pound frame and is amazing with other dogs. He has never been around feline friends and though we do need to test him still, we are willing to be there will be no problems. Shep is house trained, amazing on a leash and did we tell you he loves to be near human companions?
