We will never commit suicide by running from our history. This is a period in time that is still fresh in my mind. I can remember the news media nagging at ones side knowing of the tremendous hate that was spreading because kids wanting to attend school. This is a depiction showing the mindset at the time and faces of those who were instigating this uprising moment. I always wonder where those folks who would deprive children of their human rights are now. Go back and bring them to the front stage so we can see each of them in their attire that of exposed nakedness. As each of the protester have no idea as to just what god had bestowed in us because of that inner lack of interpretation by others. And even today we still have folks who have no idea as to why they are advocating a distant between the African American and themselves. This is a continuous battle but ground is being gained every day. Oh god! Can I ever understand those types of people with so much hate? It was only a subjective process being implemented on a people. And still today we have those who think that because of Abe Lincoln we should bow to past events as if it never happened being so grateful for what we have. I pray that documentaries like this are being exposed to our students in the lower grades showing our gains moving forward. So to those who had the audacity to convey their private thoughts that we as a people should be so grateful for our gain that we should cease in trying to gain more. This is the time I would just stare at them in amazement, as this shows the uncertainty of an empty heart.
