We will point out a simple fact with respect to the unfortunate recent events in both the Washington Navy Yard and a mall in Nairobi; one need only note that in both situations the presence of armed guards, well trained and professional - thus the death and injury toll, without question, prove that the NRA claim that arming school guards and society in general is the best solution to the issue of gun violence is both facile and dangerous.
