We will rebuild Owhelogbo Market and Abattoir - Egbabor The Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor has assured the people of Owhelogbo in Isoko North Local Government Area of the Councils preparedness to rehabilitate and reconstruct the dilapidated Owhelogbo Market and Abattoir to make them more comfortable for the traders to use. Hon. Egbabor stated this during an inspection tour of the market and abattoir penultimate week. At the market Hon. Egbabor expressed dismay with the total collapse of infrastructure in the market and linked it to the reason why the traders often shade their wares along the road. The Chairman said part of the shops will be built to lock-up status to enable sellers store their wares in the market if they chose to. On inspection of the Abattoir, the Chairman condemned the state of the Abattoir and pledged that the Council will carry out massive rehabilitation works there to make the Abattoir safe for use. The Chairman was conducted round the Market and Abattoir by Hon. Efe Olokor in company of other officials of the Local Government.
