We wish to inform you all that after our recent Parish Council meeting, it was agreed that the concept of a Men’s Group for Telarah-Rutherford was a great idea. With this in mind, a short questionnaire will be handed out this weekend for your suggestions on how it should be set up. This is to ensure that all thoughts are heard, rather than just one person saying this is how it will be and that is that. Be honest with the suggestions and start to spread the word about this initiative - it will be open to any male and people will not be excluded if they are not a regular member of our congregation. So tell your husbands, sons, sons in law to come along and see what it is all about. The idea that this will not be a ‘bible study’ session, rather it will be an environment to share ideas, thoughts, hobbies and to do “blokey” stuff (e.g watch footy,, build things, learn about making beer etc). If you are not a regular attendee at our services (or won’t be making it this weekend, please reply and a copy can be emailed to you). Keep an eye on this space as we hope to have our first meeting in July :-)
