We wonder how many similar rural communities once chose to ignore the growing enlightenment about issues such as slavery, a womans right to vote, and other issues of the day. We can only hope that eventually, even the folks in Massillon, OH will think beyond their own little archaic world and recognize the rest of us are evolving, learning, and making better choices for a better future - one that exhibits compassion.
