We wore trevira coats, skirt suits, Ben Sherman shirts, braces, a carnation in our jacket lapel, monkey boots. My brother sent me a brand new pair of monkey boots for my birthday a couple of years ago. Thats me on the left, Shirley Hewitt but I wouldnt have my hair cut! My friend is Susan Moldawski who worked at the computer centre in Cannock. We both lived in Norton Canes. Sues mom took us on holiday, we were 14 at the time and we used to watch the Skinheads dancing and we thought it was fantastic. For me it lasted a few months as I became a HIppie!
