We worked the road and shift depending on what the task of the day was with minimum manning of 12 officers, 2 Sgt and 1-2 Lt, 10 years ago its more than that now. And we could have up to 34 to 40 officers assigned on shift , thats more than half of this sheriffs office total personnel for our 1 shift !! Where is the experience people. ????. We need vision for whats coming. Experience is the best teacher. I have dealt with 4 year wonders that made advancement because they could test well but had the common sense of a snail. These at time placed them selves and personnel in situations that could of been avoided. Just a note for the day, going out to meet and great, and place some signs up.
