We would like to address some of the poor reviews we have received - TopicsExpress

We would like to address some of the poor reviews we have received lately due to programming or not being open more days of the week. As one of the page admins who is experienced in PR and marketing, this summer has been eye opening for me because I did not understand the difficulty of getting 35mm films. After having worked with the owner Don since early this spring trying to figure out how to save the Drive-In and scheduling the prints just for the Stephen King Marathon and with Mr. Kings help, that process took months of contact with three major film studios! Archival films on 35mm are in nearly permanent storage because most theaters have already made the switch to digital projection. We have also tried expanding our hours by being open on Sunday nights, but there was not enough support to continue staying open an additional night. The best case scenario is that we are able to switch to digital so we can get the most requested films as soon as they are released. If we have to finance a digital projector those additional cost would be felt by our customers and we dont want to have to increase our prices! With the help of the Red Barn Cares Foundation and you, our supportive community, we can do this and save this drive-in for generations to enjoy! Thank you for your support!
