We would like to extend our sympathy to the family of Jerry Glover, Phil Glover’s father. Visitation is Saturday 4-8 and funeral is Sunday at 2 at Carr & Erwin. From Carr and Erwin Funeral Home: Jerry Wayne Glover, age 74 of Goodspring, passed away Wednesday December 24, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Glover was born October 14, 1940 in Goodspring to Luther Elwood and Gladys Garner Glover. He was a tool crib operator at Fafnir and was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Willa Dean Vaughn. Visitation will be Saturday December 27, 2014 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday December 28, 2014 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Giles Memory Garden. Survivors include his wife Gladys Glover of Goodspring, four sons Phill Glover and wife Becky of Pulaski, Bobby Glover and wife Tina of Goodspring, Joe Glover and wife Tammy of Goodspring, Jonathan Glover of Salt Lake City, Utah, two daughters Maria Journey of Pulaski, Janice Bryant and husband Jason of Huntsville, AL, two brothers Robert Glover of Lawrenceburg, Harold Glover of Aspen Hill, one sister Elise Rutherford of Goodspring, fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
