We would like to give a shoutout to the West District for bringing holiday cheer to their police station. They decorated the hallways, cubicles, and briefing areas. West District Office Coordinator Cathy Whittington took it a tad further with the creation of a customized Christmas jingle: T’was the weeks before Christmas When all through the station It appeared that no one had holiday motivation The Professional Staff wondered what they could do And they got the Lieutenants pondering too Then suddenly the ideas began to pop They would decorate the station until mouths drop They took to their work They were lively and quick But up their elf sleeves they still had some tricks A challenge was raised to all employees inside The most creative workspace would win them a prize Many busily worked as the deadline drew near People started to wonder if Santa lived here Spirits grew high and Lieutenant’s eyes tear This holiday would be remember for years The Professional Staff packed away their elf hats And settled back in for a lunch hour nap But before they drift off you could hear them recite Merry Christmas to West Side, they do Christmas right! Thank you for your creative skills in bringing holiday magic to the workplace.
