We would like to introduce our new Zumba teacher to The Beat Fitness. Her name is Lisa. Check out her bio and please come welcome her on Sunday Nov 2 to the Beat Fitness as she teaches her first class at 10:45 am. She will be teaching every Sunday morning at 10:45. This will be a Zumba Dance Party you wont want to miss!!! Lets shake it! See you on the Red Carpet!!! A native to Los Angeles, Lisa Blasco of Cuban/Salvadorian descent has a deep passion for dancing and music, that was naturally imbedded into to her since a young child. Lisa Blasco trained with Zumba creator and founder Beto Perez and the original ZUMBA crew in Miami Florida in 2003 and was as well as part of the Zumba with Kellogg’s tour in California. Lisa’s Zumba classes have performed on the KTLA morning show, and has been featured in Self magazine 2012. Lisa has worked with many Modeling/Acting Agency schools teaching Zumba as part of the course curriculum and works on teaching self love, letting go and feeling free. Lisa loves to motivate others to have fun while dancing. Lisa has appeared on Extra!, Telemundo, Univision, and leads Zumba classes at various private and corporate events as well. Lisa lead a Zumba Bootcamp Infomercial for a research project on weight loss as well as being featured in other body toning infomercials. Beyond Zumba, Lisa is also certified in many other dance and athletic movements and lives a clean and organic lifestyle. Lisa has a genuine desire to help and motivate others and welcomes people of all levels to join her high energy and fun filled Zumba classes! Zumba is a feel-happy workout that combines a motivating fusion of Latin and international music with unique moves and dynamic combinations that allow participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be Fun and Easy to Do allowing Zumba participants to stick to the program and achieve long-term health benefits in both body and mind. A mixture of body-sculpting movements with easy-to-follow dance steps, the routines utilize the principles of aerobic interval and resistance training. A combination of fast and slow rhythms tone and sculpt the body, maximizing caloric output, fat burning and total body toning.
