We would like to invite you to the 2nd Annual Summer Honors Band Concerts next Wednesday and Thursday evenings, July 30 & 31st at 7pm in the (air-conditioned) Starpoint High School Auditorium. The concerts will feature ensembles of top performing students from Starpoint, North Tonawanda, Lockport, and Roy-Hart school districts. The bands will be conducted by Mrs. Karen Fish (Starpoint), Mr. Justin Carere (Starpoint), Mr. Tim Martin (Lockport), and Mrs. April Carere (North Tonawanda) and Mrs. Jill Carere-Fetterman (West Seneca) and assisted by Mrs. Holly Martin (Lakeshore). The concert is the culmination of two weeks of rehearsals held at Starpoint through the Community Educations Summer Enrichment Program. We have 259 students in fourth through eighth grades participating in this amazing educational experience this year! Wednesdays Concert features: the 4th Grade Honors Band performing: Crater Laker Overture, Battle of the Samurai, America the Beautiful, and We Will Rock You the Middle School Honors Band performing: John Williams Trilogy (Jurassic Park, Schindlers List, Indiana Jones), Let it Go (from Frozen), All Through the Night, and Into the Storrm Thursdays Concert features: the 5th Grade Honors Band performing: Confidence March, Stormchasers, Party Rock Anthem, Zuni Legend, and Happy Come out and enjoy the music!
