We would like to reveal the theme for Oscillations14 this year. As you can see the cover pic of the group, we have chosen 7 to be this years theme. Here is the list of events that we have come up with: EVENT NAME: JERSEY NO. 7 This “JERSEY NO. 7” event consist of total 3 rounds each with some crazy sport related rounds, which can rock you all to your feet. Round 1: Lagori – The Game of Seven Stones Round 2: Around The World (Dashing Car) Round 3: Pehchan Koun PARTICIPANTS PER TEAM: 2 EVENT NAME: 007 This “007” event consist of total 3 rounds. It is based on movie character James Bond whose is also well known by 007. The technical-cum-fun rounds are to be played by caliber of 007 like accuracy, prediction, intelligence and agility. It is amazing to check out how artistically the character of James Bond is molded into 3 amazing rounds. Round 1: Hit the target Round 2: Casino Royale (Rotating table) Round 3: Matermind PARTICIPANTS PER TEAM: 2 EVENT NAME: HANGOUT ZONE In this section of the hangout zone, the players can enjoy some one-minute fun games based on a combination of balance, reflexes, hand to eye coordination,logic and application of principles of physics such as projectiles, momentum, pressure, centre of gravity, rotatory and oscillatory motions and so on. EVENT NAME: SAAT-E-LITE (4NEC2 Design Contest) For the workshop on 4NEC2 conducted on earlier this year, IETE is conducting a design contest on 5th April,2014. 4NEC2 is an open source software used for simulation of various types of antenna. Participants will be given a design problem and judged on basis of understanding of problem, knowledge, accuracy in design and time.
