We would like to send out our love to Frederico Suave (Drop Dead Fred) who passed on earlier this summer. Fred was an amazing and extremely unique person who taught us some real sombre lessons in life as well brought some real hilarity with his antics. Fred was a very genuine and generous friend to The AREA who wore his heart on his sleeve and loved and appreciated having his friends around him. Not only did Fred DJ at The AREA fairly often but he put on one really wild show that still stands vividly in our memories :) Fred really started to turn things around this year by attending Mount Royal College to become a social worker and help others, as was his nature.
