We would like to take a moment to get some important information - TopicsExpress

We would like to take a moment to get some important information out to the surrounding communities that we service. Alsip to the Rescue is the Pet Store of the Future. We are unlike other pet stores as we have the courage to forgo profits for values. We used to sell breeder dogs and no longer do. We only take in rescue dogs and cats and its been 1 full year since we have been a 100% rescue for dogs and cats and we havent looked back. Our mission is to save as many animals as possible. Our vision is to expand the reach of what we are already doing to include a full service animal facility that includes training, doggy day care and a dog park among other plans. Our values are based on doing the right thing. The leadership of Alsip Home & Nursery and Alsip to the Rescue, believe that this rescue mission reflects our companies values. Doing business ethically is our core value. A minimum $505 goes into each dog that we rescue. Our adoption fees range from $200 to $400,(payroll, supplies and vet care) and we arent even counting our transportation costs, which means we lose at minimum, $105 per dog we save. We are offering animal rescue as a service to our local community. We also, would like to thank everyone in the surrounding communities for the incredible support. Between more customers shopping our stores, donations for the rescue animals, families that have adopted, families that have fostered or volunteered, and more. We are truly grateful and thankful. We now rely on the rest of our store to fund the animal rescue to keep it going. Any purchase you make at Alsip Home & Nursery helps us continue our mission. Whether you buy a bag of bird seed or a flowering hanging basket in the spring, your purchase saves lives. Literally. Even if you dont have time to come in and shop, you can make a donation online. alsipnursery/alsip-to-the-rescue-adoption-center
