We would like to thank Northern Illinois University Football for helping us honor Carida and Jesus Arteaga for their service on #VeteransDay! Jesus joined the US navy September 25th, 2006 and served a total of 8 years and 4 deployments. He recently retired from the Navy in August and is currently a Junior with major in Public Health at Northern Illinois University. Carida, Jesus sister, spent 20 years in the Navy and retired on July 31, 2014 as a First Class Petty Officer. She deployed 6 times during her 20-year career! Carida is currently a junior at National Louis University studying to get a Bachelors degree in Management. Thank you both for your years of service & dedication to our country!
