We would like to thank the many concerned citizens of Fountain County and even one from Tippecanoe County that contacted us today about their concerns of the medically neglected dog in Fountain County..... We listened to the concerns, situation, and proceeded to offer our services.... We would like to thank the Fountain County Sheriffs Department and Deputy for assisting us in assessing the situation and going to the residence with us to talk with the owners and seeing the dog... We would like to report the dog had been hit by a car, but the owners have also sought out medical treatment for their dog by a licensed veterinarian.. We have called the vet to confirm.... Further treatment to come tomorrow at Purdue University.... Though the animal is in a bad situation with some injuries the owners are taking avenues to help their dog... We will be staying in touch with the owner and following the dogs recovery.... Thank you to all for looking out for the well being of our fur babies...
