One afternoon, while in the office (Located at the Famous Maitama street of Abuja), a well-dressed, healthy looking White woman walked into the office and courageously asked; Where is your MD? she sounded as if they both had agreed to meet on that day. So i walked into my boss office and told him that a White woman requests to see him. let her in he said. Later in the day, after the closure of work for the day, while driving home, he asked; Emeka, do you know the White woman came to beg for money, she had asked the security to direct her to my office, they did!? OMG! Really? I responded with amazement! I never thought of such, cause when she walked in, i felt its gonna be strictly business! Guys, dont get me wrong, i didnt pass judgement on her...im about proving a point to fellow NIGERIANS! Read through... Its unfortunate that the minds of a good number of Nigerians has been conditioned to think that we can only make it when we get to the diaspora Any body that travelled out is authomatically assumed to be On Money. Take to the streets of your location, conduct a survey, say about 10 youths, roughly 3 of em will respond positively about the potentials in Nigeria...the rest believes in going to Yankee! :D Again, Nigerians themselves has failed to see the potentials in our country Its assumed by them, that we are poor people & beggers! Then i ask myself, what did the white woman come to do in my office? Wasnt it to beg? Then i found the truth in this quote Poverty is of the Mind its not a matter of the place you staying! Dear Nigerians, do you know that therere lots of Whites in this country who are exploring our minerals, developing industries, providing job opportunities cutting across all the professions of life, and even employing our services to work for them in order to make ends meet? While we (the citizens) are here complaining? #HowIronic? Think along with me this morning; imagine a Nigeria where everything is in place-the roads, houses, jobs are created, income generated, uninterupted power supply...name them! Yeah, i can feel the smiles on your faces, the desire to see them happen :) but hey people, those heights aint magically attained! How then can it be attained? Its simple people; Via Realization of Self Worth! The Great inestimable potentials inherent in the Genes of every Nigerian! Waking up everyday having in mind that the World is looking upto you, hence doing everything legally possible to put your self & country on the Heights youve always dreamed of! Its only when you realize the potentials thats in you, then youd put Nigeria ahead! You cant blame the governement for not achieving your goals in life as a Nigerian! Neither will you blame God for making you a Nigerian! Trust me, when Nigeria is good; its not only we (the citizens) that enjoys the dividens, other countries benefits too...the African continents gets even more recognition! Im a Nigerian, believe you me; it has never been my thought to contirbute to the growth of Nigeria only when i get to the TOP! I believe im already contributing my own quota no matter how small it seems to be. Dear friends, im not trying to make any one feel bad about him/herself, wish to let you all know whats obtainable by you using your Intellect! However, if youre on this project i call Operation fix Nigeria kudos to you! If youre yet to, wake up people, let your family alone feel your impact, then it will get to your neighbours, then Nigeria at large! Youre Wealthy! Nigeria is Wealthy! Africa is Wealthy! Realize this...you can only get better! Do it for Nigeria. She needs you now! The future is Now! Wealth is not in a place, wealth is in You! Develope it! Seasons greetings
