Weapon of Victory In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Ephesians 6:16 We have the ultimate weapon in the war of good versus evil. As we suit ourselves for battle, we need to put on the whole armor of God, which will keep us safe from the devils arrows. As you get dressed today, remember to put on your armor: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace on your feet, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:14-17). But keep reading; dont forget the most important weapon we have-our direct connection to God. Verse 18 goes on to tell us to pray continually. First Kings 8:44-45 says, When Your people go out to battle against their enemy, wherever You send them, and when they pray to the Lord... then hear in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
