Weather Alert: A tropical depression has developed in the Indian Ocean, South of Karachi that seems to be heading towards Oman, but is expected to turn around and hit coastal waters around Karachi on Friday, October 31, 2014. So far, only AccuWeather is reporting that this depression might further develop into a tropical cyclone. While, it is not expected hit Karachi in full fury, a sudden drop of pressure from a normal 1012 to 998 millibars on Friday is expected, unleashing whole gale force winds gusting at around 85 km/h. The Pakistan Angler advises extreme caution to its members during this time. Please do not venture out to the sea from Thursday morning until the weather conditions settle down. Thank you. Admin.
