Weather Alert: The next five days look like lows of 16, 19, 21, etc. with highs of only 34 degrees. There is also a wind advisory in effect right now. Living Hope has been requested to open our warming shelter. It looks like we might be needed all week. Even if youve helped in the past or havent had an opportunity, we could really use it this week. How can you help? We need and plan for food all week, as well as basic needs such as Sleeping bags, Pillows, Socks, Hats, gloves, food for dinner, bag lunches, breakfast and snacks and drinks. ps... we know that many have donated all these items in the past but they go quickly. The homeless go through sleeping bags pretty quickly due to their use and environmental conditions. We will also need volunteers and security.
