Weather Forecast for KENT – TUESDAY 27th January 15. SYNOPSIS: A ridge of high pressure move over us. TODAY . . . Putting it simply, we can all expect a generally rather overcast type of day, but therell be the odd bright intervals here and there and it will be staying dry. Temperatures sticking close to average values at around 8 C (46 F) under a gentle north west breeze. Overall, a generally uneventful day where you might be able to hang the line washing outside today if you are desperate enough. TONIGHT . . . Mostly cloudy with the occasional clear breaks. Our wind is expected to back into as a south west and pick up slightly in doing. As a result of all that, temperatures will be on the mild side at 6 C to 8 C (43 F to 46 F). TOMORROW (Wednesday) . . . Cloudy with outbreaks of rain in the morning and into the first half of the afternoon and itll also be windy with a fresh to strong south west wind. Overall, a rather dull and bleak type of day. However, the back end of a cold front will pass over us during the middle part of the afternoon which may give us a last minute burst of sunset colours before leading to clear breaks by the evening. Mild at around 11 C (52 F) for most of the day, then quickly turning colder and fresher at 5 C (41 F) by late afternoon and into the evening. There is a small chance that some of the rain could turn into as snow or hail very briefly as the back end of the cold front passes over us in the middle part of the afternoon, but has been said in low confidence. That will then lead to a cool and breezy night with partial cloud and clear breaks, which may prevent a frost from taking a hold. OUTLOOK . . . Ill keep it simple and say it will be cold and fresh with a risk of wintry showers for the rest of the week and more especially into the weekend. We can expect some winter sunshine as well. Rather windy at times, thus adding a chill factor. Frost and ice becoming regular occurrences by night and into the morning. In other words, becoming somewhat more winter-like in nature as our wind turn in from the north west and then eventually in from the north later on.
