Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles Issued: 6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 A ridge of high pressure is the dominant feature across the region generating a brisk trade wind flow. Patches of low level clouds moving with the wind flow will result in occasional cloudiness with scattered showers across parts of the island chain during the next 24 hours. Moderate to rough sea conditions are expected during the next 24 to 48 hours with swells peaking near 10.0 feet. A small craft warning is in effect for above normal sea swells. Small craft operators and all sea users should exercise caution.
