Weather Situation - A deep low pressure system south of Tasmania is slowly moving south-southeast and a high pressure system is moving near the Bight extending a ridge behind a cold front crossing northeastern New South Wales. Over the next few days the high will move east strengthening the ridge across the west and southeast of the state as colds fronts associated with low cross the southeast. By Saturday the low will weaken and the high is expected to be position over southeastern Australia. Forecast for Tuesday - Sunny. Patches of light morning frost about the Upper Hunter. Winds west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h, increasing to 25 to 30 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 1 and 5 with daytime temperatures reaching between 12 and 17.
