Weather Update: Wednesday / Thursday Good evening ladies and gentlemen. All bets are OFF for any accumulating snow in our area overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning. We could still see a little light snow but nothing of significance. Latest observation models by WxBell and the NWS indicate a significant snowstorm well north of us. A large area of moisture will arrive Wednesday afternoon bringing rain (heavy at times) and into Wednesday evening. The concern tonight is the possibility of severe thunderstorms and high winds on Wednesday late afternoon/evening. The backlash of very cold air returning will produce very windy conditions behind this moisture into Thursday. Well be looking at temperatures tomorrow and Wednesday in the mid to high 60s. So get outside and ENJOY it tomorrow!!!!! Sunny skies tomorrow with rain arriving on Wednesday. The timetable looks as such. Very warm temps will visit over the next several days. On Wednesday, as temps begin to drop, theres a high possibility of severe weather. We will see temps drop some 30 degrees or more in a matter of 12-18 hours. Were looking at a high of 65 on Wednesday and only a high of 30 on Thursday. The good news though is that all significant snow should remain to our north. This is a big snow event for places like the Poconos, Upstate New York, and interior portions of New England. Looking forward, we see yet another chance of accumulating snow next Monday into Tuesday.
